Need a little visual accompaniment when zoning out to the sweet, sad strains of Bon Iver? You’re in luck, the band plans to release a digital-only deluxe edition of their second studio album, Bon Iver, on November 29, featuring 10 short films — one for each song.
To get a sense of what these films will entail, check out the trailer up yonder. Apparently, the videos — which are not music videos but visual representations of songs — took a year to create, and feature work by Isaac Gale, David Jensen, JoLynn Garnes and Justin Vernon.
The deluxe edition will only be available through iTunes, but a limited number of DVDs will also be produced to be sold at record stores and through Jagjaguwar mail order.
