In a move that had us all wondering, “Wait, that hadn’t happened yet?” Lady Gaga added another social network to her roster this past weekend: Google+.
Lady Gaga’s social presence is nothing to sneeze at (if one were inclined to sneeze in surprise): The artist has more than 18 million followers on Twitter, 46 million fans on Facebook, an extremely popular (albeit largely dormant) Tumblr and her very own social game, GagaVille. That’s not to mention the fact that she has one of the most-viewed YouTube videos of all time.
Now, it seems, Gaga is expanding her reach to Google+, posting her first rumination on January 15 (a thank you for her People’s Choice Award) and following up with a smattering of posts about this past weekend’s Giants game and other events.
Gaga’s adoption of Google+ is a little Johnny Come Lately, but she’s already amassed more than 15,000 followers. She has a ways to go to beat the likes of Britney Spears, who was the first to score 1 million followers on the social network, but given her reach, it’s likely she’ll achieve that goal post haste.
In the meantime, however, there’s still a few networks Gaga has yet to join (at least publicly, to our knowledge). Which do you think she should hit up next? The below are our picks.
1). Instagram: We’re surprised that Gaga has yet to join the photo-sharing site. We’d love to see what goes on behind the scenes in her life.
3). Soundtracking: More bands in general should join this music-sharing app. Get on that, kids.
