T-Pain Continues His Social Media Takeover With Viddy Production Pack

Posted January 17

Following in the footsteps of Snoop Dogg before him, rapper T-Pain is aiming to make his mark on your videos with his very own Viddy production pack.

Viddy — which is basically Instagram for video — is out with an update today that includes a bunch of tweaks to its UI and camera functionality, as well as a $0.99 production pack from T-Pain himself. The pack adds a steam punk effect to your 15-second videos, as well as music from the single “5 O’Clock,” Ft Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen off of T-Pain’s new album, rEVOLVEr.

In the past, artists like Incubus and Snoop Dogg have also offered up such production packs, Incubus around the release of their new album If Not Now, When?, and Snoop in celebration of his #PuffPuffPassTuesdays tradition on Twitter (whereby he shares a new jam every Tuesday).

This is hardly T-Pain’s first foray into apps — his I AM T-Pain application has served to infect us all with auto-tune fever since its release in 2009.
