We’re half-dead and wholly enlightened over here at the O Music Blog, having spent roughly 4,000 days in Austin, Texas, for SXSW. We’ve interviewed some rad bands (three more to go today!), mingled with tech innovators and pretty much ate our faces off. Today, however, it’s back to business. It’s time to do what we came here to do in the first place: rage.
Tonight, we’re throwing out second-ever O Music Awards Unboxed event at a secret, undisclosed location. O Music Awards Unboxed is an event series that pulls together all aspects of the O Music Awards into one wild night: technology, music, audience interaction and our own special brand of WTF?! weirdness.
Our first event took place at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City, and featured performances by MNDR and Miracles of Modern Science, as well as a preview of image/video-sharing app Cameo, an awesome installation called The Rainbow Machine, and a music video shoot for MNDR.
Well, this month, we’re taking some of the elements of our first event — namely Miracles of Modern Science — and teaming up with our friends BangOn NYC to throw another Unboxed event — this time in the sultry climes of Texas.
Here are the details:
What: Music, installations & randomness
When: March 15, 7 p.m.
Where: House of the Creatives, Austin, TX. RSVP for the address: firstname.lastname@example.org
