Pyyramids On: Innovative Music Videos

Missed out on our O Music Awards Unboxed event last weekend? Well, never you worry, we’ve got a little snippet of the action right here to get you through that dark period of self-loathing: a vid featuring the band Pyyramids chatting about interactive music videos.

For those not in the know, the theme of the last Unboxed event was “innovative music videos,” and in accordance with said theme we threw a wild party featuring tunes from Not Blood Paint and Pyyramids (featuring Tim Nordwind of OK Go). We also learned a bit about interactive music videos from production company m ss ng p eces, checked out an awesome light-up, instructional guitar hack courtesy of Tabber Guitar, as well as marveled at iPad-spun stage graphics courtesy of artist Shantell Martin.

Pyyramids took some time out from soundchecking and whatnot to chat a little about their favorite music videos of all time, their own trippy vid for “That Ain’t Right,” as well as their definition of the word “innovative.” Check out the video below:
