Although Fun. Rocked The Grammys, Other Acts Saw Impressive Sales

Posted February 11

Fun. may have been the big winners during last night’s Grammys, but when it came to an uptick in award show eve sales, they were bested handily by a cadre of other big names.

Music download service 7digital is out today with a report detailing which Grammy artists saw an uptick in sales following the big event, and even though Fun. danced in the rain in shiny shirts/won two big-name awards during the course of the show (best new artist and song of the year for “We Are Young”) they didn’t see as drastic an increase in downloads as the likes of Mumford & Sons (who took home album of the year for Babel) or Dierks Bentley (who performed during the show). Naturally, this could be due to the fact that the entire world has already heard the band’s standout hits — over and over again.

Check out the full list of bands who bested Fun. below.
