The O Music Awards Hits LA — Courtesy of Apogee Electronics

Posted June 19

The O Music Awards are now mere hours away! As you may have heard by now, the show this year comes in the form of a 24-hour online music festival, featuring more than 50 bands (as well as some kittens, a goat and a 24-hour #drumathon courtesy of Andrew W.K.). Today, we’re happy to announce that in addition to New York and Nashville, the event will also go to down in Los Angeles, at Apogee Electronics’ Apogee Studio.

Apogee Studio in Santa Monica, California, is a recording studio and performance venue in the heart of Apogee’s solar powered Berkeley Street headquarters. The large space adjacent to the company’s offices and warehouse has been a host to legendary recording artists, up-and-coming artist showcases, and serves as “The Lab” for Apogee’s product development and testing. Artists such as John Fogerty, Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and many more have recorded and performed at Apogee Studio.

Bands rocking out during our show include Grouplove, The Mowglis, Robert Schwartzman (of Rooney), Night Riots, Tennis System. These acts will be hitting the Apogee stage in the late-night hours, so make sure to keep the party going the full 24 hours!

In the meantime, hit up Apogee on Facebook and Twitter and start getting amped for the show!

Reminder: The O Music Awards kicks off here at at 7pm EST on June 19 and runs for 24 full hours!
