“Instagram for music” Soundtracking is out with an update today that makes it easier for users to dive deeper into the tunes they discover via the location-based service. Now, instead of just listening to previews of tracks that others share, users can listen to tunes in full via services like Spotify, Rdio and YouTube.
“Instagram for music” app Soundtracking released an update for iOS today that boasts not only a sleek, redesigned UI, but also a couple of fun new features: the ability to tag friends and dedicate songs, as well as to see which jams are trending nearby.
It’s always been a big gripe among Instagram users: that there’s no centralized, Instagram-spun website where one can check out a stream of snaps from the photo-sharing app. Which is why tons of third-party services have cropped up where you can check out your friends’ retro-filtered snaps online. Today, a new service of that ilk enters the fray, with an added bonus — music. Introducing, SoundTracking for Spotify.
Sharing what we’re listening to is all the rage nowadays — a trend that’s made all the more verifiable by the entree of yet another music-sharing app onto the scene: Soundshare.
