Before Amanda Palmer, before Ben Folds Five, before any of the myriad bands using Kickstarter — or even Kickstarter itself — Eric Victorino of The Limousines was using the crowdsourcing model to fund his starkly honest poetry books. Now, the musician — having recently split from Dangerbird Records with bandmate Giovani Giusti — has applied the model to his music, resulting in a new album titled Hush that is just as haunting and raw as those crowdfunded tomes.
