Well, they’re out with a breezy new summer jam and it’s kind of perfect for wading through the last afternoon before a national holiday. On January 5, we posted Walk Off The Earth’s cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” to the O Music Awards Blog, impressed that four members of the band — as well as singer Sarah Blackwood — played the tune collaboratively on one guitar. Today, that video has been viewed more than 10 million times, and the band has tripled its Facebook fanbase. Not bad for an stripped-down, acoustic performance, huh?
